Welcome to our plans for Ashlands
Bloor Homes is excited to bring forward plans for up to 200 new homes on land south of Ashby Road to the north of Tamworth.
The site offers the opportunity to deliver these much-needed homes on a sustainable site, whilst also delivering a range of benefits for both new and existing residents. After a consultation with the local community that saw us receive feedback from over 600 people, we have now submitted an outline planning application for the site.

What are the timescales?
Following our consultation with the community we have now submitted a planning application for the site. Below we have included a timeline of activity over the coming months and years.
Summer 2024
Engagement with the community and key stakeholders to understand local priorities and seek feedback on the proposals.
January 2025
Submission of an outline planning application to Tamworth Borough Council.

Mid-2025
Anticipated determination of the outline planning application by Tamworth Borough Council.
Subject to approval of our planning application
2026 and beyond
A future reserved matters application will be submitted to Tamworth Borough Council to agree the details of the development, including design.
