Funding for local infrastructure
We understand that when new developments come forward, people want to know how the impact on existing services and facilities will be addressed. As part of our planning application, we have engaged with Tamworth Borough Council to understand what the local area needs and will provide funding to address any impact resulting from our development. This could include funding towards local education, healthcare facilities, and road improvements.
Green space
Delivering high-quality open space
Green spaces are vital for our physical and mental well-being. That is why as part of the proposals we are going to be investing in on-site open space. This will include new recreation space to encourage active lifestyles and ensure that future residents have high-quality open space on their doorstep.
We will also connect these spaces with the wider area through enhancements to footpaths and cycleways, ensuring that they can benefit the wider area, as well as those who will live on the site.
Community
A new neighbourhood building
It is important to us that our proposals help to foster a sense of community, both in terms of the site’s future residents and also with those living in the surrounding area. As part of the plans, we are looking to provide a new neighbourhood building on the site.
During our consultation with the community, it was clear that there is a desire for a café or pub in the local area. We have listened to this feedback, and we are now proposing to deliver this use at the site. We are currently engaging in discussions with potential end users.
